FSX 2020 - FSX Live data not being uploaded?

This article will assist users who are experiencing problems uploading sessions from FSX 2020 to an FSX Live account. While this problem does not happen often, we have had reports of missing data and included our recommended fault-finding below: 

Fault-Finding Recommendations: 

1. Check if the problem was due to a weak signal or a drop in the connection. If you have the computer connected to the internet via an ethernet cable, please move on to step 2 and 3. 

• You can do this by logging into your FSX Live account inside of the software and then starting an improve session. Please hit some shots and then check if the data is uploaded to the FSX Live account. If so, the problem was most likely due to a weak signal or drop in the Wi-Fi connection at the time. 

 2. Check if the software is in Offline Mode / Using Offline Hours: 

• Open the FSX Software
• Select the Foresight Logo at the top middle of the Play Compete Improve screen
• From this pop-up window, you can see how many hours you have left. If you press deactivate this will remove the offline hours
• Close and re-open the software - the software should now look to validate via the internet on startup and you will be able to access the online features of FSX.
• The process is slightly different for the original version of FSX so please ask for further details.

3. Check if the latest version of the software installed onto the system: 

• Open the FSX Software
• Select the Foresight Logo at the top middle of the Play Compete Improve screen
• From this pop-up window, you will be able to see which version of the software is currently installed on the system. The latest version of FSX 2020 can be downloaded from the page here: https://www.foresightsports.com/fsx2020updates

Please note, we recommend having the computer connected to the router via Ethernet as the connection is more reliable.
