FSX 2020 - Moving the Software

If you need to move your FSX software from one computer to another, or you have to reinstall your software onto the existing computer, please follow the steps below.

 

Step 1 - Deactivate your courses

Courses can be deactivated and reactivated through the FSX software, this would enable you to use the course on another machine if you have not purchased another license for the course. You can download the free of charge courses from the https://www.foresightsports.com/support/software/fsx-2020 page on the Foresight Sports website. 

• Please open the FSX software and wait for it to load the menu
• Next, please select either the PLAY or IMPROVE button to load the course menu
• Select the course you wish to deactivate and press the DE-ACTIVATE button on the bottom left of the screen

Step 2 - Deactivate your software license

As a part of your FSX software, you will have been prompted to create an FSX Live account on the Foresight Sports Website - https://performance.foresightsports.com/ . It is through your online FSX Live portal that you can manage your FSX license, courses and activate your offline hours.

• Login to your FSX Live account
• Click in the top right corner under My Account, or click on your username
• Select the license tab under the My Account header
• Locate the FSX license you wish to deactivate (Make sure to make a note of the license key)
• Click the deactivate next to the key you wish to deactivate
• Now the license will be deactivated and is ready to be used on another computer

Step 3 - Activate your FSX license

Once your license code and courses have been deactivated, please open the FSX software on your laptop or desktop computer and enter the activation code when prompted. (You will be prompted to enter your Username, Password and Activation code after FSX has been installed.)

• Please make sure that FSX has already been installed onto the computer before proceeding
• Once installed, the next step would be to open the FSX software where you will see a prompt appear requesting your account information and the activation code
• Please enter in the requested information so the software can contact the server and assign the code to your new laptop or Desktop computer

 

Step 4 - Activate your courses

You can download the most recent versions of courses from the https://www.foresightsports.com/support/software/fsx-2020 page on the Foresight Sports website.  

• Please download the courses one by one from the list provided in the email or from https://www.foresightsports.com/support/software/fsx-2020 
• Please install each one after the download has completed.
• After installing every course, please open FSX and go to the Play screen, from here you will be able to see the courses are currently showing as not activated. Please click on the courses one by one to activate them.
