This article is designed to help users with downloading course files. In some cases, customers have experienced the error message: files are corrupted, please obtain a new copy. The error message will appear because the download was interrupted and so the full download could not be completed. Please see our recommended fault-finding below:
Fault-Finding:
1. Please try downloading the file on a computer with a hardwired internet connection. Computers that are connected via Ethernet are the best as they aren't affected by signal loss like Wi-Fi.
2. The next step would be to try downloading the file on another web browser. We recommend using Google Chrome when downloading a file as it has been more reliable than Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer.
3. If you are already downloading files using Google Chrome, please try downloading the file using Incognito mode. The steps for this have been included below:
To download via Incognito mode in Google Chrome:
- Select the button with the 3 dots to access the further options and select New Incognito Window:
- Once in the Incognito Window, try one of the download links that was not working and download through this new Incognito window.
