FSX - Want to use the software Offline / without Internet?

If you do not have a reliable internet connection, or just want to use FSX on the move with a laptop, the best way to guarantee its continued operation is to set your license to offline mode.

To activate offline hours you need to login to your FSX Live account on the Foresight Sports Website - https://performance.foresightsports.com/. It is through your online FSX Live portal that you can manage your FSX license, courses, and activate your offline hours.

To activate your offline hours, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your FSX Live account
  2. Click My Account in the top right of the web page
  3. Select the Licenses tab
  4. Locate the FSX license you wish to go offline
  5. You will see a column for Offline Hours and a Request button, click Request and agree to the pop-up prompt.
PLEASE NOTE - the Deactivate button to the right of Request on the FSX Live Website is to deactivate your FSX Licence from your Computer, not to remove offline hours.
  6. You will now see that your request has been approved.
  7. Now, you will need to launch the FSX software while connected to the internet. This will activate the software’s offline request.
  8. Exit the software and disconnect your internet connection from the computer to test you can gain access to FSX without the connection.

If FSX is unable to start I would just reconnect the internet, reload the FSX Live website and attempt steps 4-8 one more time.
